It was a big day for one of Pulaski County’s most iconic manufacturing entities, as TTAI celebrated 20 years in this community with a special ceremony on Friday.
The event was attended by Congressman Hal Rogers, Pulaski County Judge-executive Steve Kelley, and numerous businessmen from Japan, the nation that gave this area one of its largest employers.
Along with the recognition of two decades spent in southern Kentucky, the occasion also came with good news: an expansion at the plant, located off of Ky. 461 across from the Valley Oak Technology Complex, is providing almost 100 new jobs to the community.
“We’re in the middle of a 90,000-square-foot expansion, a $62 million investment,” said TTAI’s VP of Administration, Donnie Slagle. “(The new jobs) will be in the stamping department.”...
