All work and no play… there’s no danger of being “dull” here in Somerset and Pulaski County. There are acres and acres of lake, in fact Lake Cumberland is the largest man-made lake east of the Mississippi River and the resources and events you would expect to enjoy it. Also, we have public and private golf courses which has been compared to some of the best in the country, pristine and “green velveteen” and peaceful local and state parks. Pick apples from a local orchard as you begin new family traditions or visit a vineyard to purchase more products grown and produced right here in Pulaski County. Enjoy lazy day fishing, hike some of the most beautiful trails in the country or go rock climbing at the end of the path. Take in a Broadway show with a professional cast, or enjoy the local talent in a community theater production. There’s a water park that rivals those of major metropolitan areas and a prevailing attitude that people should put as much work into their play as they do into their work.

There is much more to do and we have found the assortment of prospects is limited only by your willingness to explore them. Come join us for endless recreational opportunities.
